cOUNTERSUNK frame / SHORTENED SLIDE STOP

The slide stop pin is shortened to sit flush with the frame. This prevents the slide stop from being inadvertently pushed out of the frame while the shooter has his finger rested along the side of the pistol during administrative functions such as loading or press checking the pistol.

To aid in the reassembly of the pistol, the slide stop hole of the frame is precisely countersunk, and the end of the slide stop pin is chamfered.
